APPLES!
Apple Walnut Ring Cake
From Niagra Calvinette Council Cookbook 1991
Ingredients:
1 c. butter or margarine 1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. mace
3 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sifted flour 2 c. chopped nuts
1-1/2 tsp. baking soda 3 c. chopped apples
1/2 tsp. salt
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix and sift flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and mace. Gradually stir in vanilla, apples and walnuts. Batter will be stiff. Spoon into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1-1/2 hours. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove to rack. Enjoy!

I should have used more apples to make the cake more moist. Other then that everything went smoothly. I served it to my family and they said it tasted great! Everyone enjoyed it. :)
